Brief: Modern Light greens and classic whites
Photographer: Lauren Stacey Photography
As spring unfolded in mid May, Harriet and Jack welcomed their loved ones to a beautifully orchestrated two-day celebration that moved from the historic grandeur of Stockport Town Hall to the sleek, contemporary setting of The Colony in Knutsford.
Their vision; a fresh, modern interpretation of classic white and light green florals that shaped a celebration of elegance and luxury.
Day One: Stockport Town Hall
The ceremony at Stockport Town Hall carried an intimate, romantic atmosphere within its stately surroundings. Harriet carried an all-white, textural bouquet that perfectly captured the freshness of the season. A cloud-like mix of sweet peas, ranunculus and other delicate spring florals created a soft, airy silhouette, while subtle variations in texture brought depth and movement to the design. The result was a bouquet that felt modern yet romantic, a beautiful complement to the couples’ contemporary classic theme.
As part of the ceremony, the floral styling followed the same clean, sculptural direction. Lush white hydrangeas formed the foundation of the designs, paired with modern, linear anthuriums that introduced a striking architectural element, creating a refined, contemporary aesthetic setting the perfect scene for Harriet and Jack’s vows.
Day Two: The Colony, Knutsford
The following day, the celebrations continued at The Colony in Knutsford, where the outdoor terrace set a lively yet stylish reception. The space was transformed with modern floral styling — crisp whites, fresh greens, and sculptural arrangements that brought a serene, early-summer feel.
Guests were welcomed into the ceremony space by elegant floral plinths, each adorned with a thoughtfully curated blend of white and soft green blooms. These arrangements combined more textural hydrangeas, delicate spring florals, and sleek, linear stems to create a modern yet inviting entrance. The mix of structure and softness set the tone beautifully- a seamless introduction to the contemporary, fresh aesthetic that carried through the entire celebration.
Together, the two days created a wedding experience that felt cohesive yet full of dynamic moments.. Crafting the floral story for Harriet and Jack was an absolute pleasure, and we’re grateful to have been part of such a thoughtful and beautifully executed event.
