Set against the shores of Ullswater, Kelly and Ben’s wedding at Inn on the Lake, Ullswater was designed to feel completely at home within its Lake District surroundings. Their outdoor ceremony overlooked the fresh water Lake framed with a floral palette of soft whites and fresh greens that created a natural continuation of the landscape.
For the ceremony, we created large-scale hydrangea floral structures framing the couple against the lake, alongside meadow-style arrangements lining the aisle. White hydrangeas, anthurium and seasonal flowers were layered with soft, textural foliage to give the designs movement and an effortless feel.
The florals were deliberately abundant in the areas that mattered most, creating impact while allowing the incredible setting to remain part of the design. From the sculptural ceremony flowers to the smaller considered details throughout the day, every element was designed to feel cohesive, relaxed and personal to Kelly and Ben.
A beautiful example of how white and green wedding flowers can feel anything but predictable; contemporary, textural and designed specifically for the space.
