Brief: Contemporary white and green florals with soft movement and texture
Photographer: Kate Borrill
Lucy and Oli’s wedding at Casterton Grange, Lake District was centred around a palette of white and green, designed to feel abundant and full. Surrounded by the Cumbrian countryside, the florals were created to work with the character of the venue, bringing softness, movement and a fresh feel throughout the day.
For the ceremony, we used layers of white seasonal flowers, textural greenery and meadow-style arrangements to frame the space naturally. The designs were kept loose and sculptural rather than symmetrical, allowing the flowers to feel as though they belonged within the landscape and architecture of Casterton Grange.
That same floral language continued into the reception, with considered arrangements bringing the tables and wider spaces together without overwhelming them. Every element was designed as part of one complete look, creating a wedding that felt cohesive from the ceremony through to dinner.
Another beautiful example of how white and green wedding flowers can still feel full of personality- whilst still understated yet modern.
